New pricing and LTD users

Hi Sumo-lings,

Here goes the news! :mega:

We want to directly address the recent changes to our plans and clear up any confusion.

When you purchased your lifetime deal on AppSumo, it was tied to our Cloud Pro Plan. Over time, as our product has evolved, we made the decision to sunset the Cloud Pro Plan. By default, your plan would have transitioned to our free plan since it is the closest match in structure and features.

We understand this wouldn’t have been ideal and that plan changes can be frustrating. That’s why we created a dedicated LTD (lifetime deal) plan exclusively for our AppSumo community.

This new LTD plan goes beyond both the original Cloud Pro and the current free plan. It already includes additional modules and features such as more AI agents, tables, and MCP servers, plus unlimited to-dos—all of which were not part of your original purchase.

  • Tiers 1 to 3: 5 AI Agents / 5 Tables / 5 MCP Servers
  • Tier 4: 10 AI Agents / 10 Tables / 10 MCP Servers
  • Tier 5: 20 AI Agents / 20 Tables / 20 MCP Servers
  • Tier 6: 50 AI Agents / 50 Tables / 50 MCP Servers

As we grow, we’ll keep refining and experimenting with our subscription offerings. However, you can count on the LTD plan to bring you lasting value as it evolves. We’re committed to building the best possible product while showing our appreciation for your ongoing support.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at support@activepieces.com. We’re here to help and committed to making sure you get the best experience possible.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

ok not bad but still very frustrating! Why did I buy the TIER 2 IF IT’S THE SAME VALUE OF TIER 1 ?

I would appreciate a refund or credit for the difference to make it fair between TIERS 1-2-3.

Tasks are still different between the tiers @kevin

oh ok I don’t see it? Any comparison table?

I’ll post the full table soon! But what you got originally in the plan is still included in the plan.

Updated post here on the new plans

Ash / activepeices team,
First, thank you for the quick update and the effort to improve the LTD plan compared to the previous proposal - it’s a step forward. However, after reviewing everything and discussing with other LTD buyers, many of us still feel this does not fully respect the original spirit of the deal we purchased.

Here’s why:

We still have our original task limits (e.g., 1,000,000 tasks on top tiers), which is great - but the current limits on MCP, Tables, and Agents don’t align with that scale. For example, 20 tables and 20 agents can’t realistically support workflows for 1M tasks.

Many of us invested heavily (Tier 5 and 6 were equivalent to 2+ years of today’s Plus plan with unlimited features). We believed in Activepieces early and didn’t use the product for years, waiting for this moment. Now that we finally want to leverage it, these restrictions hold us back.

The new thread explaining these changes is locked, which makes some users feel unheard and worried about transparency. On top of that, some feel this breaks the expectation AppSumo buyers had of “future Cloud Pro plan updates.” Trust is crucial right now.

We want to keep supporting Activepieces and be your advocates, but for that, the LTD plans need to make sense at scale.

Here’s a reasonable proposal for all tiers that reflects the task volumes and respects early supporters:

Tier 1: 10 MCP / 10 Tables / 10 Agents

Tier 2: 15 MCP / 15 Tables / 15 Agents

Tier 3: 25 MCP / 25 Tables / 25 Agents

Tier 4: 50 MCP / 50 Tables / 50 Agents

Tier 5: 100 MCP / 100 Tables / 100 Agents

Tier 6: 250 MCP / 250 Tables / 250 Agents (or Unlimited if possible)

Additionally:

Personally, I think we deserve even more, but after discussions with other LTD users, and influencers in our orbit, this should be a fair middle ground.

We’re not asking for free credits or anything recurring - just the infrastructure to make our investment usable.

LTD buyers were your earliest supporters. If these changes are made, we’ll proudly promote Activepieces instead of moving to alternatives like n8n or Make. This is a great opportunity to turn frustrated users into long-term champions.

Sumolings,
If you agree with this proposal, please reply or like this post. The more voices, the easier for active pieces to hear us clearly. Let’s make sure we are treated fairly, and can scale with active pieces.

Hi @MasterO

We have never seen people reaching these limits to be honest, as Tier 5 you have 100 of tables / mcp / agents, realistically speaking you almost never need more than one MCP per person .

We have launched the tables for a year now, and there was small technical limit ( < 10) that people never reached and it was way way lower than 100, So if you ever used such limits feel free to shoot us an email support@activepieces.com and with the use cases we would be more than happy to think of a solution.

The Plus plan has limit of 10 active flowss, while all appsumo LTD are unlimited.

Thanks for the quick reply and for engaging here - it’s appreciated. I just want to clarify one point:

You mentioned that Tier 5 includes 100 tables / 100 MCP / 100 agents, but the official LTD post and what’s showing in our accounts is still 20 each for Tier 5 (and 50 for Tier 6).

Can you confirm if the 100 limit is:

  • Already live and just needs to reflect in accounts?
  • Or something you’re planning but haven’t rolled out yet?

If it’s planned, that’s great news, and I think it would make a huge difference for top tiers.

  • Can you also clarify if there are any adjusted limits planned for the other tiers? Right now, Tiers 1–3 still have low limits, which seems hard to scale even for their task volumes.

Regarding the comment that “no one reaches these limits”: that may have been true before, but usage changes as features mature. I already have use cases for more than 20 agents today, that we utilize outside Activepieces.

Top-tier LTD buyers didn’t purchase these plans to stay small - we planned for scale. A plan with 1,000,000 tasks/month isn’t small, so the surrounding infrastructure (tables, MCP, agents) needs to match that capacity.

Lastly, thank you for pointing out the unlimited flows advantage - that’s definitely valuable for LTD users, and we apreaciate that it has been kept intact.

Looking forward to your clarification on the 100 limit and any updates on adjusting limits for the other lower tiers too.

Hi @MasterO

My bad, I was reading your post instead of announcement, for tables and MCP they were live for long time and nobody have crossed 5 in tables / mcp.

The reason we allowed multiple MCP, is because we needed it for the agents and nobody requested or used more than one (as it’s was not possible for two months).

For agents we don’t have enough data, when you reach the limit let us know the use case, we can take look again and find a proper solution.

Thanks,
Mo.

Thanks for clarifying, Mo. I understand the reasoning based on historical data, but here’s the real issue:

LTD buyers purchased these plans for future scalability, not just current usage. A plan that includes 1,000,000 tasks per month is designed for large-scale automation. For that scale, limits like 20 MCP, tables, or agents simply don’t match the capacity we paid for.

Historical usage isn’t the right indicator because:

  • MCP is a new technology, and adoption will grow as more workflows start leveraging it.

  • Tables were mostly replaced by Google Sheets or Airtable, but as native tables improve, usage will rise.

  • Agents are already being adopted quickly and will become central to automation workflows.

Waiting until users hit caps and then handling exceptions case by case creates uncertainty and slows adoption. It’s hard to plan ambitious solutions with limits that don’t fit the scale of the plan.

What we’re asking for is simple:
Adjust LTD feature limits so they match the task capacity of each tier now, not later. For (a modest) example:
Tier 1 → 15 each
Tier 2 → 25 each
Tier 3 → 40 each
Tier 4 → 50 each
Tier 5 → 100 each
Tier 6 → 250 each

It’s a win-win: this isn’t just about fairness - it’s about making LTD plans usable at the scale they were marketed for. If you make this adjustment now, LTD users will confidently build on Activepieces and become your strongest advocates instead of hesitant adopters.

Cheers,
Barak.

Just create a “fair” tier-based benefits.

You seems like trying to downplay our contribution to your initial growth.

To avoid more drama, since you mention money is not your primary motive joining AppSumo and you already get the exposure and feedback you needed, for those not satisfied, then refund should be an option.
