I presume ‘AppSumo Tier 3’ is Enterprise since this feature is fundamental for understanding system failures and correcting them as soon as they occur. Is this the case?
This phrase, which is increasingly used when adding new functionality, causes extremely negative emotions. This is very different from the description of the product and the offer at the time of the transaction.
AppSumo users are on the Pro (Pricing) plan which has the core features of the product. The Enterprise features map out to the needs of large organizations who use Activepieces across their teams and need to guarantee the reliability, security and control of their systems at a large scale.
While I understand that you’d like to get all the features in your AppSumo purchase, one time payments can’t make us a sustainable and growing company. We have customers who pay thousands of dollars a month and their needs are more advanced and complicated than users who are on the simple plan.

@Konrod Can you tell me how this is very different than the promised plan when you purchased it? I’m open to see the list of features you purchased and if Issues / Alerts were part of them, you’ll get them in your plan. These are new features, not under the Pro plan.
FYI, you got tens of features in your Pro plan for free after your purchase. We want you to get huge value out of Activepieces, but if you think all features should be free and included, this is not the expectation we’d like you to have.
Thanks for understanding!
@ashrafsam Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, when this feature goes live, on the Pro plan (AppSumo Tier 3), is there any way to know if an ActivePieces automation fails? How do we know?
The Pro plan for Appsumo customers is still a paid plan, and we use ActivePieces for our own businesses and clients, so we also need to ensure the reliability and control of our systems, albeit on a smaller scale.
I understand that we shouldn’t get all the nice features, but surely this is a crucial (must-have) feature that should be on all plans to give us peace of mind that our automations are working.
This is a great question, you have to get notified and we might have missed that. In the past, you were notified by default, but I have to review the current behavior if “Alerts” are not part of the plan.
We definitely can’t let you miss notifications about erroring flows. It’s just that we started building advanced observability and monitoring tools that will start with these Issues / Alerts features. But we’ll definitely let you know when a flow fails.
Let me have a discussion with the team, understand our current stance and the plan for the feature, and I’ll update you here.
Currently, you’ll get updated as part of the new Alerts feature as long as it’s enabled for you.
Thanks for asking this!
I’m just giving feedback based on my experience using your product. unfortunately, I cannot accurately show the difference between the conditions-the description of the product that I bought and what I am receiving now, since the offer description has been deleted from appsumo.
“” AppSumo users are on the Pro (Pricing 1) plan which has the core features of the product. The Enterprise features map out to the needs of large organizations who use Activepieces across their teams and need to guarantee the reliability, security and control of their systems at a large scale.“”
This phrase was definitely not in the product description. By itself, the designation PRO product implies professional use of the product, and judging by your message, it is more likely DEMO PRO, or SO-SO PRO…

You made an offer, assuring that all future improvements and changes will be included in the tariff, and we honestly paid the tariff. A fair deal. And in fact, the maintenance costs did not increase for you, so we paid the limits in the cloud. The description did not exactly say that the future functionality, which simply ensures the stability of the already paid functionality, will be placed in a separate tariff. It doesn’t make sense.

When making the decision to purchase a product, I was based on the functionality at that very moment. It’s great that the product is developing and new functionality is being added to it, but I purchased it for specific goals and objectives. And most of the new functionality is useless to me (I don’t belittle their value to others).
Once again, I’m not criticizing, but just giving feedback on my experiences. As a business owner, I believe that a timely highlighted negative is more valuable than praise.
Now I use no more than 3000 points out of 200k per month. For other automation tasks, I use other software.
My tariff is great for MVP. But bringing the product to the market immediately removes all limits - it is necessary to raise the tariff. (It should sound logical and good for both me and you.). But in fact, I can’t even use your product as an MVP because you limit its basic capabilities.
Therefore, I do not consider your software for the development of mass commercial products. Why do you make such restrictions yourself?)
It seems to me that with this approach you are shooting yourself in the foot.
It is not clear what the purpose of the sale on appsumo was on your part - to get some money on a one-time basis and take on obligations, or to get brand ambassadors for their own money and get hooked on regular payments under the WIN-WIN scheme?
I don’t have a goal to discuss this topic, I’m just sharing my experience using the product, just as I wrote about bugs earlier.
Hi @Konrod I moved the discussion to a new topic to keep the announcement clean.
Can you give me an example or two about things that you tried and failed to do on Activepieces because of the limitations on the Pro plan?
I want the discussion to be fruitful and genuine rather than generic, as we have thousands of users on the Pro plan who are using Activepieces in production, so I’m curious about how you’re feeling limited today.
Also happy to compensate you for your purchase if you’d like to give up using Activepieces (while this is cost to us, but I won’t mind it as our goal is to provide value).
Thanks for the feedback!
I’m sorry, I have a train coming soon and I’ll be without Internet for at least a week. I’m not ready to participate in the discussion - I just gave feedback. I’m not asking for a refund - I’m fine with that. I think that it is better to highlight such issues in advance than to expect when the bubble bursts and covers with negativity at the most important moment. If you don’t see common sense in my message, well, OK. It’s just my opinion. Perhaps someone else will share. P.S. the main reason for my message is that I was sure that I was buying access to all the functionality in the cloud, limited by usage limits. It turned out that this was not the case. I prefer to work with companies that adhere to what is stated, rather than changing the rules on the go, referring to the items in small print. just in case, I’m writing through a translator. if you offended someone, there was no such intention.
It’s totally fine and I was only trying to understand your perspective. Enjoy your offline week.
Just to clarify, we didn’t change anything, our marketing on AppSumo is for the Pro plan, stated very clearly on the page.
We didn’t decrease the features of the Pro plan ar any point, in fact, we released so many new features to it (you can go back in the announcement history and see that).
It could be annoying to see new features released to a plan that you are not on, but we can’t do anything about it, we have to build a successful company rather than announcing our shutdown then you are left without access to anything.
We’re bold in our messaging and we try to set the right expectations to lower the amount of confusion.
Again, if anyone is really limited at their work, let us know why exactly and we’re open to discuss how things can always be better (or maybe help you achieve your goals with the current product).
I’ll close this topic for now, feel free to open new discussions if needed.
