We have an important update to share regarding our platform’s features. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to sunset the custom chatbots feature within Activepieces.
Reason for the Change 
Our team has recognized that OpenAI has significantly advanced in the chatbot space, offering capabilities that outpace our own. In light of this, we are choosing to refocus our efforts on our core mission: to refine Activepieces as the premier open ecosystem for workflow automation.
Looking at the Alternatives 
As we prioritize our platform’s core functionalities, we encourage users to explore alternative solutions for chatbot needs. You can use our OpenAI piece to use your assistants in flows, or you can use alternatives such as re:tune Ask Chatbot action.
We’re fully committed to supporting this transition and ensuring that your automation needs continue to be met with the same level of excellence, care, and continuous feedback you’ve come to expect from us.
You will be able to continue using Activepieces’ chatbots until the 15th of December, however to avoid any failed runs in the future we recommend you start using alternatives in your flows as soon as possible.
