This flow was working well before, but now all of a sudden it gives this error when trying to update a WordPress post:
“Website url is invalid: https://scootazon.com”
I have reconnected and have it say it successfully connected a few times, but this is the error I get from Output.
Are you using Cloudflare? I have issues when using Cloudflare. Normally I just turn off super bot mode. Other security plugins or sever level security could be blocking REST API as well.
Hi DigtalAnchor,
After posting this and trying to troubleshoot it on my own, I got it to work, figured it was a short lived bug maybe, but just tried to have it run again and getting the same error.
To answer some of your questions:
- I have my own server I use for hosting my, and my clients, websites. So it is all the same environtment.
- I have several automations built for several clients, all using the same tech and plugins on WordPress (mostly use this to automate content for them)
- All seem to work without having any issues.
- The ONLY difference between the others and this one, besides general functionality, is this is an “Update” WordPress piece, instead of a “Create” WP piece. Maybe there is a bug with Update, and just not widely reported because it is less used…?
I do have a Web Application Firewall installed, and also several security plugins on most sites, but on this one the plugins are deactivated because that was my first thought as well.
The security plugin on this site, that is disabled, is the Patchstack Security plugin (formerly WebArx) and this is the only site with that particular plugin, mostly because it has a very vulnerable and outdated plugin on this website, that we are working on bringing up to date still.
I am going to record a video of me troubleshooting it, for help, will post here when ready.
Just as another piece of information, this does not work with Create Post either…
So since it works with other websites, but not this one, I think I might be something with the website. I am going to try to troubleshoot it, but some ideas about what I should try would be helpful.
OK, so it seems like the Squirrly Plugin is the culprit. It must conflict with the way the Json connects…?
Still strange that other sites appear to be working, as I have that installed on the others as well. Will have to test further.
Thanks for the heads up. I have expericed blocking with Cloudflare, but nothing on the sites themselves via plugins. Good reminder to trouble shoot i guess. good luck!
Hello What is the solution with Cloudflare ? do you have an IP to whitelist ?
