The delay piece is very unreliable! I have one automation that needs 1 minute delay to continue.
I am writing this post as the automation is working. It started at 10:09 and now it is 10:25 and still it hasn’t passed that 1 minute delay piece! What is going on?
Can somebody do something about this? This is not normal.

We have increased the server capacity
For some reason, the testing environment has issues with the delay step, but the live environment is working correctly. I have the same issue when testing. I have found that though the delay doesn’t work in testing, it does work when it goes live.
To test this, set the final actions of your automation to “skip”. Instead, add an email to right before the delay and then another to after the delay. Then, turn your automation on and trigger it. If you receive the first email and then the next one in the proper time between emails, the delay is working.
