Hello everyone,
I recently visited the Activepieces website and came across the heading “Powerful AI Agents.” I’m intrigued by this concept and would love to learn more about how we can achieve this functionality within the platform.
Could anyone share insights, experiences, or resources that explain the capabilities and implementation of AI agents in Activepieces? Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi @loudotdigital, thanks for the great question!
Traditional automations follow a fixed list of steps you plan ahead of time. An AI agent starts with written instructions, selects the tools you’ve given it access to in real time (email, Slack, Sheets, APIs, GPT, etc.), and adapts when conditions change. Because it retains memory, each run builds on what it learned previously.
Here’s how I’m using agents right now: a customer support agent in Gmail/Zendesk that drafts replies and escalates tricky tickets; a social media agent in LinkedIn/Buffer that finds trending ideas and schedules posts; a sales agent in Sheets/HubSpot that enriches leads and sends personalized outreach; and a partnerships agent in Slack/Docs that drafts value propositions and tracks next steps. Each agent has its own tone, instructions, and tool set, so I don’t have to repeat myself; they integrate into multiple workflows and can even pass work between each other.
Happy to help you brainstorm your AI agent lineup!
