I want to add an alphanumeric sender ID when sending SMS through Twilio, as the recipient sees the message as coming from a brand rather than an unknown phone number, which contributes to brand recognition, trust, and engagement.
I believe I’ve configured the sender ID correctly in my Twilio account, and from my discussions with support, I just need to add the sender ID to the ‘from’ parameter. However, at the moment, I am unable to do that.
It would be great if the sender ID feature could be added to the Twilio piece.

You can press the F icon on the top right corner of the From property to add the Sender ID, as shown in the image. Currently, the dropdown only shows phone numbers, but you can map the Sender ID using this workaround.
I had a similar issue before and learned that using an alphanumeric sender ID depends a lot on your sip trunking provider and regional rules. Some countries just block alphanumeric sender IDs for two-way messaging, so even if it’s working technically, carriers might reject it. I had to check with my sip trunking provider directly to get a list of supported features for each country.
