I’ve recently started using Activepieces and I’m really impressed with its capabilities! I’m trying to automate a flow within my organization, where Slack acts as the trigger. The goal is to capture any new message posted in a specific channel and send it to Activepieces for further processing.
I set up the Slack ‘New Message’ trigger, connected my Slack workspace, and successfully loaded a test message. Everything worked smoothly during setup. However, when I ran the actual flow, new messages in the Slack channel didn’t trigger the flow as expected. No error logs were generated, so I’m not sure what went wrong. I’ve tested this on both the cloud and self-hosted versions, but the issue persists.
Has anyone else encountered this, or could you suggest any troubleshooting steps I might have missed?
Hello @Osama_Riaz , Welcome to the community ,
If you’re using the cloud version, please ensure that the ‘Activepieces (Cloud)’ app is added to the specific channel (by typing ‘/’ and selecting the app from the dropdown in Slack). Also did you select particular channel for this trigger?
If you’re using the self-hosted version and want to use your own Slack app credentials, please follow this guide to set up the app webhook.
Hi, I am having the same issue. I have the slack bot added to the correct channel, the test run is ok, but the flow is not triggered. I am using the cloud version.
Hi @kishanprmr,
my issue with slack triggers in cloud version still persists. Do you have any updates?
Thanks!
Hello @Jakub_Broukal, could you provide the flow link via DM to troubleshoot the issue? Also, please try recreating the Slack connection and trigger.
