When testing I am able to generate a link that I can use to download the audio file, however when I am using it as part of a flow, I only get file://step_4/test

Activepieces only store files temporarily until the execution ends. That’s why providing a URL is not possible.
What is the use case? If you’re looking to store the file long-term with a shareable link, I suggest you upload it to Google Drive, S3, Supabase, or SFTP.
