Hello our lovely community,

As mentioned in my previous announcement (⭐ New UI Open Beta Testing), we have been working on renovating our UI, we are happy to announce that it has been released for people using our cloud :partying_face: .

Please let us know what you think about it, and especially if you are facing any bugs, we are very excited about this and hope it makes your experience with us better.

Feel free to write down your opinions, comparisons or any feedback in general, we will cherish them and enhance even further after.

Overall the new UI is very pleasant, especially in Dark Mode.

Some few questions:

  1. I’m not finding that button on Code piece to open code full width with Console tab

  2. didn’t find Items per page in Runs or Flows list

  3. some icons in Dark Mode has not enough contrast now (like the Storage one); may a good workaround would invert their colors if they are a svg path

Hi @AndreSalata and @mvpalves,

  1. You are correct console tab is missing that we will add back. We’ve decided to move away from the full-width screen. Instead, we’ve added the packages to the small screen, and we’ve also enabled resizing of the right sidebar to 60% of screen. The best practice for code is usually 80-120 characters per line, so the new width fits within those guidelines, what do you think?

  2. The “Rows Per Page” option has been added back now. :smiley:

  3. I don’t have an answer for this yet. Maybe @Abdul can help.

As things stand our pieces logos can be png, jpeg or svg, so I can’t really invert the colors, however I am still investigating this and trying to find a solution for this problem.

How do I get back to the old version? Have some issues with the new version and can’t work at the moment. Have posted on another Beta thread.

Today was my first day in creating flows, it seems I picked a day with bugs. So not sure if it’s my understanding of how the software works but when I click on a step it disappears. Sometimes the right hand side penal appears and sometimes not.

When you hold click on a step you can drag it and drop it somewhere else to reorder your flow, in regards to the right side panel, it is where you can edit the settings of the clicked step.

  1. Any chances to get console back for Code piece?
  2. Coding without full-width screen is not a big deal for me and the ability to resize the width is nice, but would be great if we could resize the height of the code area. I’m struggling seeing just 15 or less lines of code.

In my case, the connections keep disconnecting and the automations fail constantly. I would really appreciate your help.

Are you on https://cloud.activepieces.com ? if you are a selfhoster, please make sure you update Activepieces to the latest version

from my automation community, the leader said (regarding activepieces’ new update): “I’m still waiting for branching + filter which hasn’t been implemented yet. This is a must have imo.” I saw branching was coming but what about filtering?
