I recently discovered Activepieces on GitHub and am highly impressed with the platform. It aligns perfectly with a project I am currently developing, and I am considering it as a core component of my stack.
I am reaching out to clarify a few points regarding the MIT/Open Source usage:
- White-labeling/Branding: Under the current license, is it permissible to fork the repository and host it under a custom brand for a non-commercial project, provided that the ee (Enterprise) directory is removed and proper attribution is given?
- Piece Development & Contributions: I intend to develop several custom pieces. I would like to contribute these back to the Open Source ecosystem. Who is the best person on your team to discuss the technical standards and best practices for building robust pieces?
- Deployment Workflow: Regarding UI changes (e.g., logos), I encountered some difficulties. Does every minor branding change require a full Docker image rebuild? I faced some rendering issues during my first attempt and was wondering if there is a specific guide or a more efficient workflow for this.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to connect and discuss how I can best work with and contribute to the Activepieces ecosystem.
