Loading Sample Data Broken

I am trying to use Google Drive “New File” as a trigger and its not actually pulling any sample data when I click the button. First is an image of the button clicked, followed with an image after the button was clicked and still no sample data being pulled. Please advise!

I have made some progress in the way of tracking down the bug, but also uncovered a new one!

When I deselected “Include Team Drives” and chose a folder not shared, I got the sample data generation to actually attempt, but was given an error:

Thanks!

Hello @nadda,

What is the file type and size of the files in the selected folder?

Thanks for the reply @kishanprmr !!

The files vary from CSV to PNG to PSD. Similarly the sizes vary quite a bit.

This is a shared drive we provide access to a folder for our clients so that they can upload assets for our team to use in various tasks. We have found clients are not the best at updating the team when new assets are provided so my goal is to have alerts sent into a slack channel when assets are added.

A separate issue, but tied into this workflow was the lack of additional information being pulled. Please take a look at another post of mine if you do not mind:

@nadda, thanks for providing the details. Could you share the flow ID for troubleshooting the error?

I will add the enhancement of response for file metadata in the Google Drive piece to the roadmap.

Thanks for taking a look as well as adding that additional context to the roadmap!!

@abuaboud @hazemadelkhalel can you look at it?

Can you check it now?

I am still getting the same issue, I believe it might be pertaining to the file size/organization of folders.

For context:

We have Client Files > A’s - Z’s (Organization by Client Name) > Client File Corresponding to Name.

When trying to use an organizational level folder (for example: A’s), it was still not registering any test data, but when we select an individual client file it will successfully run the test step.

If I also try running the test on an individual folder, receive a successful test, then revert back to the main folder of DI | Clients 2024, we are back to the issue of not grabbing data.

Unfortunately I think the use case I was hoping for in this flow is not going to be feasible for a single flow due to the sheer amount of folders involved.

Let me know if you come across any ideas, or would like for me to continue testing as you make tweaks on your end.

I really appreciate you all taking a deeper look!!

@abuaboud @hazemadelkhalel @kishanprmr

sorry, I will take look asap @nadda, currently drowned to be honest!
