How to use the code screen part JSON to CSV?

Hi all,

I want to use the json data from a http request in a previous step to use the json to csv action.
I see you can use “data to insert” or code screen.
The file is maybe to big to do “data to insert” because I have to test the previous step. Can I skip the test part and use the code screen? If yes, how to use the code screen to use the previous / step_1 (HTTP Request action).
