Help Needed: Understanding Loops in Activepieces for a Non-Techie (How Looping works here ?)

Hello Activepieces Community,

I’m not very technical, but I’m eager to learn how to use Activepieces effectively. I recently came across the “loop” function and I’m struggling to understand how it works here, especially from a non-developer’s perspective.

Could someone please explain in simple terms how the loop function works? For instance, how would I use it if I wanted to automate sending personalized emails to a list of contacts stored in a web app like Google Sheets?

Any examples, step-by-step guides, or advice would be greatly appreciated! I’m looking to make the most out of this tool without getting lost in technical jargon.

Understanding of loops

Hi @luvhex, I think I found the issue. It is in here: [image] You should map the field from the loop piece not the CSV piece. If the loop set-up is correct, the loop piece should show you 1 item (the first), you need to map the required field from the loop piece. When the loop will run it will map the same field for the other items too. Please give that a try and let us know the outcome. KR Bram

Thank you brother ! I’m trying this out now I will close the thread if the problem is solved. But yeah for someone just starting out out on the platform it’s not that simple, it would be great to have explanations inside of the piece when making the flows.
