Fast AI model returning OpenRouter insufficient credits error

Hi ActivePieces team,

We’re experiencing an issue with the built-in AI provider when using the Fast model in our workflows.

Our AI step fails with:

Failed to extract structured data: Insufficient credits. Add more using https://openrouter.ai/settings/credits

Our configuration is:

  • Provider: activepieces

  • Model: fast

  • Piece: AI v0.15.1

  • Action: Extract Structured Data

However, our workspace Usage dashboard shows only 54% of credits consumed (8,034 / 15,000), with 1,749 AI credits used by our project.

Could you confirm whether the managed Fast model has a separate OpenRouter credit allocation, and whether there is currently an issue with the shared provider balance?

We haven’t configured our own OpenRouter API key.

Same issue here, brand new account using today for the first time with the paid plan. Running out of credits.
