Error: Run failed for an unknown reason, contact support

We have a flow that listens for submissions from our website. On legitimate submissions it succeeds. But it’s also generating phantom failing runs with error message:

Run failed for an unknown reason, contact support. - ,

The run log won’t load any input or output data for any of the steps.

I emailed support, which referred me here. It looks similar to several posts including this one, which indicate the problem may be internal to activepieces and out of my control. @abuaboud I see you were able to help with that linked issue. Is this something you may be able to help with?

Thanks for sharing the flow URL.

Could you let us know which step is showing this error? Also, if you run the same step in test mode, does the same error occur?

Thank you. There is no specific step - it doesn’t show me any input or output data for any step, nor does it show the initiating action. The flow doesn’t fail in test mode nor when I kick off the production flow myself via the website.
