Can AI really turn ideas into automation? Here’s how we’ve been trying to make it real

While building RPA tools, we often hit the limits of API-based automation. Some tasks, like interacting with websites, simply can’t be done through APIs alone.

That’s why we started experimenting with Octoparse AI Copilot, an AI-powered RPA tool that turns plain language into runnable workflows.

How it works

Describe what you want to automate, and AI Copilot generates a complete workflow — steps, logic, and actions included.

Everything is visual and editable, with no coding or manual setup required.

Why we built it

• To explore how AI could help automate web and desktop tasks beyond APIs.

• To lower both the usage and learning barriers for RPA beginners.

• To help experienced users prototype and test ideas faster.

Try it out & share your thoughts

AI Copilot is now live in Octoparse AI, with free credits for new users to experiment and generate workflows.

We’d love to hear your thoughts — what kind of automation tasks would you like to see AI handle next?

You can check it out in Octoparse AI and share your thoughts with us on Discord: Octoparse AI Workflow Automation

What distinguishes your AI capabilities from UiPath and n8n.io? What actions can it perform? If I want to automate following and liking by multiple account on TikTok, can it handle all my requirements within a single workflow?

Appreciate the discussion here! Octoparse AI Copilot sits somewhere between UiPath and n8n. It can generate a runnable workflow from plain language — the AI itself won’t modify deployed flows automatically, but users can edit them manually.
It focuses on RPA + AI rather than AI + API(like n8n), so it works well for tasks without available APIs. Currently it supports web and Excel automation, like TikTok likes, follows, or data scraping. Multi-account setups can be handled via integrations with other tools.
