"Ask ChatGPT" no longer working

Since this afternoon most of my “Ask ChatGPT” pieces are no longer working. The “Model” drop-down shows an error, see screenshot.

In the OpenAPI “Ask ChatGPT” Piece I am suddenly getting an error “Unexpected error, please refresh the page or contact support” in the “Model” field. Refreshing the page doesn’t help.

I can select my existing OpenAI Key that I’ve used successfully before, and it has credit on it. However, the model selector drop-down is replaced with the error message.

When I try to enter a new OpenAI Key, I get an error “Unexpected error, please contact support”.

I tried creating a new Flow with a new “Ask ChatGPT” piece, but I get the same problem.

In the existing flow I was using gpt-4.1-mini, but in the new flow I didn’t have a chance to select a model yet. Strange enough, I have another existing flow that uses gpt-4.1-nano and that continues to work (I can also test it successfully).

Any thoughts on what may be causing this, and how to resolve it? I am aware that OpenAI has had some issues today, but it wouldn’t explain why one Flow works, but not the other ones.

I also experience this just now.

I tried to create another api keys on openai, same results.

Yes. Same here. Maybe something with the OpenAI outage yesterday?

The cloud version of Active Pices is working fine it looks like.
But the self hosted is the problem here.

Restarting the instance alone doesn’t fix the error.

I shutdown the instance and pulled the latest images. before running it again. It now I can use the OpenAI
