All past runs got triggered automatically in a flow

I got a lot of past runs in a flow retriggered all of a sudden.

As a result, this caused many emails to be resent to my audience, making me look like I was spamming them.

Sounds the worker was trying to run the automation and they fail because of that Global Outage (Cloudflare for Cloud)

which sounds they are getting retried, we will stop the workers until the service is fully back up

But why did the worker try to rerun finished runs?
