✨ AI Credits Usage Table

Hey everyone

When we created AI Credits that is currently used in Native AI pieces like Text AI, Utility AI and agents.

We wanted to solve two main problems:

  1. Make it easy to try new AI models without needing to set up API keys :key:
  2. Avoid common api key generation issues (like OpenAI billing issue) that caused lots of support questions in the community :speech_balloon::person_raising_hand:

Since then, many people have asked:

  • How can I get more AI Credits?
  • How can I check my usage?

Here’s how it works:

:point_right: You can add your credit card in the cloud version — we’ll charge $1 for every 1,000 AI Credits, and you can set a spending limit :credit_card::moneybag:.

:wrench: For self-hosters, you’ll need to provide your own API keys in the platform admin . :wrench:

:point_right: We track how many tokens you use and calculate the cost for you automatically :bar_chart:

There’s also a table in billing page where you can see every request made and the exact cost of each one :receipt:

Hope this helps make things clearer!

Hi,
You really should allow for BYOK “API keys” as an option on the cloud version.

Quick note, I am unable to use this new credits functionality. My billing page does not include the option to add a CreditCard. So no credits, cant use MCP without it.

Any plans to fix it?

Hi @Mal

You should be able to see toggle now.

Thanks,

Thanks abuaboud,

Still doesn’t work.

Logged out and in. Its working. Thanks Mate.

@abuaboud @Ash

What are the factors that influence credit consumption, such as input/output length, complexity of the AI task, or the specific tool being used?

Can you give clear examples of common automated tasks with their estimated credit costs? This would help with benchmarking, comparisons and understanding.

You have the data from your testing. Rerun them if you have to. Can you share any of it. Write a blog post or share it here.

That would be awesome.
