I just signed up, but I have yet to receive my activation email. I have clicked the resend 4 times and nothing yet. It has been over 30 minutes and nothing.

Nope. Nothing. I even checked my mail server to see if it was blocked or grey listed, (see below) and nothing was there.

Found the issue, We use same provider for our discourse emails and platform verification emails, you unsubscribed from discourse verification email which result in blocking platform verification email as well.
I removed the global unsubscribe, and trigger an manual email password, you should have the email.

AH! OK. I unsubscribed by mistake and couldn’t figure out how to undo that. I even looked at my preferences for that.
Anyway, I received the activation email and all is right in the world.
