401 error, authentication in dynamic Google Sheet authentication

Hi Team,

I want to set-up an action with dynamic google sheet data for the Connection. I have tried two different external ID’s (an old one and a new one), both give the same error as below.

Hello @Bram, you might need to read the connection using the “Connections” piece and then provide the output data as the dynamic connection value.

I think this was the extra step I needed, but which item do i need to add as value for the connection, there are many options available, and none of them seem to work, as it give an error on the ‘Spreadsheet’

You need to select the entire value from the connection step, as shown in the image.

Also figured out I needed to select the ‘Column’ in stead of the ‘Column name’.

Would it be an idea to add a small line of text, in case of dynamic then use … or something like that? I can assume more people will struggle with this in the future.

Yes, sure. I will add this to the action enhancement to include a description for dynamic values.
