Hello Activepieces Support,
I recently created a new Activepieces Cloud account and noticed unexpectedly high credit usage.
Here is what I observed:
• My account is only about 11 hours old.
• I am using the Free plan.
• The account initially showed 1,000 credits, of which 456 remained before my second scheduled run.
• After the second scheduled run, the balance dropped to 319 credits.
• This means approximately 681 credits appear to have been consumed.
• I have performed fewer than 20 tests in total.
• Only two actual scheduled flow runs took place; one at 08:00 and one at 11:00.
• The flow contains two Brave Search HTTP requests, one Activepieces AI step, and one Gmail step.
• The AI model is explicitly set to Fast.
• The AI step has Max Tokens set to 2,000.
• I have now disabled the flow while investigating the issue.
According to your current pricing documentation, a flow run costs 1 credit and a Fast AI step costs 2 credits. Based on that pricing, the observed consumption seems significantly higher than I would expect from the number of runs and tests performed.
I would therefore like to understand:
1. Can you please check what is consuming the approximately 681 credits on my account?
2. Is there a detailed usage or billing log that can show exactly where these credits were spent?
3. Could test runs, AI calls, retries, or another type of activity be responsible for this usage?
4. Your current pricing page states that the Free plan provides 100 credits per day, while my account shows 1,000 credits with a reset date of October 24, 2026. Is my account using a different, promotional, legacy, or otherwise non-standard pricing or credit model?
5. If so, could you please explain exactly how the 1,000 credits on my account are allocated and how they are consumed?
I have kept the flow disabled for now to avoid further unexpected credit usage.
Thank you.
UPDATE: I have also found another Activepieces community user reporting a very similar issue, involving the transition from 100 credits/day to 1,000 credits/month and unexpectedly high credit usage. This makes me wonder whether there is a broader issue with the current credit accounting or plan transition. Credit Usage is wrong
