Testing a table with manual input never returns

Hi. I’m a newbie and I’ve created a step with a table taking manual input. The test step never returns unless I cancel it so I’ve not been able to make any progress. I’d appreciate any comments on this behaviour vs. what is expected and how I might progress. Thanks.

My setup is a local experiment on Windows 11 running in Docker for Windows on WSL.

Thanks.

Hello @John5 , Welcome to the community :waving_hand: ,

If you’re using Docker Compose or running Activepieces, please check out the Self Host Activepieces - Activepieces guide.

For the worker, you’ll need to change AP_FRONTEND_URL=http://app.

Let us know if you’re still unable to test the steps.

Hi Kishan,

Thanks for your help.

My local hosted system has been set up according to the ActivePieces guide. Thanks.

I’m not sure whether to interpret ‘app’ in AP_FRONTEND_URL=http://app. as a placeholder or a literal.

This is what I have in docker-compose.yml for the worker: AP_FRONTEND_URL=http://activepieces-app:80

I’ve changed it to AP_FRONTEND_URL=http://app:80 and restarted and the results are the same.

I’ve also dumbed my manual-entry create table step down to having only a single text field and self test still never returns.

Also, could you paste your full docker-compose.yml (redact secrets/passwords)? That’ll let me confirm the service names, networks, and env vars line up correctly.
