When I click test run and send some new data through it still shows me the output from the initial test data when setting up the automation?

In the first step ypu can run a “test” in the bottom right. Have you done that, and chosen which output ypu want in the dropdown? Still in the bottom right, where you run a test.
After you have updated that test, you must run a test in all pieces before the one you are working on.
